Onpassive in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Oud House organizes a concert for the Arab Choir on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Cultural Complex in Abu Dhabi.
Arab Choir is one of the most important projects that have emerged recently in the field of singing culture in Abu Dhabi, led by Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar. It includes more than fifty members from all over the Arab world. Arab Choir is interested in classical singing, the art of the maqam, Emirati heritage, and timeless songs in different dialects of the Arab world, and it also works to enhance the status of the Arabic language and consolidate it.
This is done through an exceptional artistic vision that is more global, combining contemporary art and the beauty of the past. Arab Choir is accompanied by an orchestra of 25 musicians playing a variety of instruments, from Eastern to Western, led by Maestro Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar.
